The Jita Kyoei 2 Project, a 36-month Erasmus+ Collaborative Partnership involving eight organizations from seven countries, is dedicated to fostering integrity and values in sports through the art of judo. By instilling principles such as respect, discipline, and perseverance, the initiative supports the personal and professional growth of sports clubs, coaches, and young athletes.
As part of this effort, the EJU Clubs Quality Label recognizes judo clubs that meet high standards in training, facilities, and ethical development. This label aims to:
Ensure quality and consistency in judo practices.
Promote judo ethics and values, creating skilled and ethical judokas.
Build a trusted network of certified clubs, recognized across EJU and Jita Kyoei 2 platforms.
Encourage professional development through certified trainers and mediators.
Our contribution was designing the Label Guide Leaflet, a key resource outlining the label’s criteria, purpose, and benefits. The leaflet combines clear, concise design with impactful visuals to effectively communicate the label’s mission and value.
This project represents how thoughtful design can enhance initiatives that prioritize sportsmanship and ethical development in athletics.
