Project type
Logo & Brand Guidelines
Date

The "Paragreen Movement" is an Erasmus+ funded initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability within the para-sports sector across Europe. The project supports the development of a green code label for para-sport organizations, fostering eco-friendly practices through training, and integrating sustainability into para-sport events.
The goal was to create a logo and comprehensive brand guidelines that embody the essence of the "Paragreen Movement." The branding needed to visually represent the project’s core values—sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation—while resonating with a diverse audience across multiple European countries.
Research & Concept Development:
We began by conducting in-depth research into the para-sports community and sustainability trends to ensure the logo would reflect the project's mission. We explored various visual elements symbolizing growth, unity, and environmental responsibility.
Logo Design:
The final logo is a harmonious blend of dynamic shapes and organic forms, symbolizing both the inclusivity of para-sports and the project’s commitment to sustainability. The color palette includes shades of green and blue, representing nature, growth, and trust. The design is clean and versatile, allowing for broad application across different media.
Brand Guidelines:
Along with the logo, we developed detailed brand guidelines. These guidelines include specifications on logo usage, color schemes, typography, and visual elements. The aim was to ensure consistency across all communications and materials related to the "Paragreen Movement." The guidelines also incorporate accessibility considerations, ensuring that the brand is inclusive and easy to reproduce.
The logo mark is a combination of a wheelchair, a globe, and a leaf. The wheelchair is a symbol of mobility, while the globe is a symbol of the world. The leaf is a symbol of nature and health.
The text “PARAGREEN movement” is written below the logo mark. The word “PARA” is likely a reference to the word “paraplegic,” which refers to someone who has lost the use of their legs. The word “GREEN” likely refers to the logo’s focus on nature and health.
Project Impact
The branding for the "Paragreen Movement" provides a strong visual identity that enhances the project’s visibility and supports its mission to promote sustainability in para-sports across Europe. The logo and brand guidelines serve as a foundation for all future communications, helping to unify the project's diverse initiatives under a single, recognizable banner.
Designing the "Paragreen Movement" logo and brand guidelines was an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause. The branding not only reflects the project's environmental goals but also its broader commitment to inclusivity and innovation in para-sports. Through thoughtful design, we’ve helped create a visual identity that will inspire action and foster a sustainable future for para-sports in Europe.
